I have learned that parent rarity and level doesn't affect the chance of breeding something rare. Have heard ideas about social rating affecting it but doubt it. Have heard chance improves if you keep on breeding the same pair - doubt it. I also doubt that it depends on how much money/gold you have, the names of the dragons, the phase of the moon or how hard you press on the "breed" button. Only thing I know that will (probably) boost it, is the "boosted breeding" option. So first 2 questions are:
1: Does anyone know how much the boosted breeding will improve your chances?
2: Is there any other way to improve your chance to get rare breeds?
Last question is a bit tougher but a lot more interesting: When you breed, is there always a certain chance for you to get a rare breed (provided it's possible at all) and a certain chance to get super/ultrarares? Or does that chance depend on the possible outcomes?
Example: Breeding dragon A + B has three different outcomes: W (common), X (common) or Y (rare). Breeding dragon C + D also has three different outcomes: W (common), Y (rare) or Z (rare). I'm trying to breed Y. Every time I don't get Y, I'd rather get a rare than a common (naturally).
Will C + D have a higher chance of a rare spawn, having more rare possible outcomes? Or will it have the same chance as A + B, just splitting the rare-outcomes between Y and Z?
If it's the former, C + D is my best alternative. If it's the latter, A + B is better for me. Perhaps it's something inbetween? Or something totally different.
Main reason for asking this is for the diamond dragon - are some combos better than others, or should I pick a combo that, when failing me, has as good other outcomes as possible? But this would be useful for every breeding I do.
Ok... a final question: Would it be possible to get a percent-number in the breeding lists, showing the chance of getting each dragon? I think others would be happy to see that too,
