ALL POSTSBreeding Diamond Dragons
<p>I'm working on breeding a Diamond so far this is how it's gone.
</p><p>First I looked for a combo with a limited number of possibilities to maximize my chances at each stage. The combo that seemed best which included several dragons I didn't have along with Diamond and low breeding times except for Diamond was Metal+Goodwitch(Only 10 possibles with a max of 17 hours and commons with only 5 & 12 hours).
</p><p>I had a Goodwitch, but not a Metal dragon.
</p><p>I bought a Light dragon for 360,000 I believe it was to start. I already had a Winter dragon. I chose those to breed the Metal as it only had 5 possibles and I only had the Winter prior to that of those possible(Note: Light + Water works as well, but my Water is in storage). I took a few tries, but I got a Metal dragon out of it and make sure my Evolution Temple was free for when it hatched.
</p><p>Once I got my Metal dragon so far the Metal+Goodwitch results have been:
</p><p>Winter, Cloud(a new one for me), Love (Note: I still need 4 out of the 10 possibles, so here's hoping..)
</p><p>P.S. I believe I got my Goodwitch through Winter+Fire(It also can breed a few other nice combos as well).

<p>Was doing the current dragon tales and finally bred my first diamond by accident. I had to breed with the Seeker dragon so I did Seeker x Sunrise (because the next part required breeding a Sunrise dragon) and boom! 44 hours. What dumb luck. Agree with everyone who says "trying" to breed them never works! My account is over four years old and I'm at level 166. Finally, my first Diamond!

<p>Bingo and Dragon Tales tasks got me my 1st 2 diamonds within a month of each other (just in January) I was about level 140. I tried everything, including the Temple. I saw that tip on a nbrs wall and thought why not? It totally worked! I just made sure the combos I put in always had 4 types. Good luck all!!!

<p>Water and fire hybrids used to work wonders with diamond for breeding. Once you had all rare water/fire hybrids, you could just trade the duplicates. Then they added the Awoken which is common :(. It used to be a wonderful trick...

<p>I am level 72 and only recently got a Goodwitch Dragon. It was still a level 1. I saw the Diamod temple on sale for 60 gold and thought perhaps it might be worth it and calculated (from what I've read so far) it would give me about a 6% chance to get the coveted Diamond dragon.
</p><p>I got the Goodwitch up to a breedable level and held my breath... First try, with Metal and Goodwitch, a Love dragon, which has a short incubation time so I paid 4 gold to get it into my empty nest. I hit the rebreed button and could NOT believe it!! 43 hours and 50 some-odd seconds until I have my Diamond dragon egg. I'm so excited!!! Totally worth getting the Diamond Temple sale for me. Good luck to all those still waiting. Don't give up!

<p>Good job- I just semi recently got infinity. No need to use gold to speed up diamond habit though. hatch time and breed time is 40 hours each and the build time for the habitat is just 12 hours. If you want any diamond tips just ask me.
