ALL POSTSBreeding Diamond Dragons
<p>I'm working on breeding a Diamond so far this is how it's gone.
</p><p>First I looked for a combo with a limited number of possibilities to maximize my chances at each stage. The combo that seemed best which included several dragons I didn't have along with Diamond and low breeding times except for Diamond was Metal+Goodwitch(Only 10 possibles with a max of 17 hours and commons with only 5 & 12 hours).
</p><p>I had a Goodwitch, but not a Metal dragon.
</p><p>I bought a Light dragon for 360,000 I believe it was to start. I already had a Winter dragon. I chose those to breed the Metal as it only had 5 possibles and I only had the Winter prior to that of those possible(Note: Light + Water works as well, but my Water is in storage). I took a few tries, but I got a Metal dragon out of it and make sure my Evolution Temple was free for when it hatched.
</p><p>Once I got my Metal dragon so far the Metal+Goodwitch results have been:
</p><p>Winter, Cloud(a new one for me), Love (Note: I still need 4 out of the 10 possibles, so here's hoping..)
</p><p>P.S. I believe I got my Goodwitch through Winter+Fire(It also can breed a few other nice combos as well).

Have gotten a diamond and two angels with different combos using idol. It seems to be a targeted diamond dragon. Once the temple was active but only for one of the Angels and on that round I got another angel and crusader as well leaving me with three angels in total. Very handy when some of those difficult battles pop up but the evoke time is horrendous lol.

I think I was trying for unicorn in all of them or possibly black diamond.

<p>Finally, at lvl 62 I got a diamond using parakeet and athletic.

<p>I'm at lvl 100... as of an hour ago and still no diamond.
</p><p>I have Angel, think she was a special early one, but no other ultra. Can using her help?
</p><p>From reading here it seems like i have one of many combinations. No goodwitch, although both my girls got before lvl 30. Lots of treble dragons... but i haven't got patience to repeat breed same pair over and over... surely it is just the same odds each individual times? Else I'd have the diamond by default having breeding ,4 different colour combinations loads of times.

<p>Can someone please explain to me the fascination with this Dragon? I don't get it. I don't even think it's that beautiful, and I hate how small it's habitat is. If it's about getting an ultra rare, I got the Nouveau so I'm content. I couldn't care less if I ever get this Dragon, so I'm going to spend my time getting the ones that I love, cause there's so many...

<p>For me personally, it's mostly about getting a dragon that can have a decent chance at beating particular dragons in the battle arena. I finally got mine and raised it to level 15, which was surprisingly cheap compared to my champions, and it's fared well against the other diamond hybrids in battle as well as a few others it has the best chance at beating. It's helped me win a couple tournaments as well as meet the battle requirements in Dragon Tales because I always get 2-3 diamond hybrids during them.
</p><p>This is one of the diamond types I actually like the apparenace of; I think some of them are awful, but that's only my opinion. I would agree that the habitat limitation to 1 per habitat is a coplete ripoff and I wasn't aware of it until I had to place it.

<p>I just bred Astro with Beastmaster and got 44 hours on the progress bar ;-) I already have 2 diamond Dragons. OK now there are 3.

<p>I was shocked to get a diamond during the last boosted breed with Cupcake & Shadow. I was actually a bit dissapointed because I was really hoping for something new (I have 2 diamonds already) and when 44hrs popped up I knew it would take all the rest of my breeding time during the boost. They were a random pair. I wasn't getting anything good when I was trying for particular things, so I thought I would throw in a pair with a TON of possiblities. Never expected a diamond to pop out. lol

<p>Glad the the elusive Diamond ? has graced me with its presence finally. Started playing 4 years ago, got mad at TL and took a 3 year break ?. But then as said by another before, gave up on trying before I left. When I came back there were so many pretty pretty Dragons I wanted so looked for the best combo with the best chances of getting them ones I wanted. Of course Diamond wasn't my aim, but was part of this list. So I just started pairing the combo and waited to see what would bloom........
</p><p>Marshmallow and Fuzzy/Pegasus (just for a change.) Why didn't I mention a level? It doesn't matter is why. ? I got so many Dragons I wanted there are too many to mention, but along with them came my Diamond Beauty. So, just to repeat... It's LUCK and ANY combo with atleast 4 elements that will produce it. Only thing we get to decide really is how many Dragon possibles are in the mix and to an extent, time between fails.
