You will get a Diamond Dragon when it is least convenient. I have 4 and dread that 44 hr clock. Have also managed to breed Valiant, Gold, Infinity, Mercury and Crusader. Quetzal evades me as well as the rest of the hybrid crew.

Dragon level is irrelevant. However if you are below level 40 then certain dragons arenot available so that might offset the odds of breeding certain dragons. I haven't spent much time thinking about it.

Dragonmama19: In all likelihood it is Enamored Dragon which you will need in the Dragon Tales event.

Every time I see 44 hrs I say "Oh crap no where to put it" Sell... I have 4 accidentals, 2 at 15 and they both suck in the Arena.

My level 15 Fire is fearsome. Believe it or not my Playful 15 is even more of a monster (you might have one from recent Tales?). Diamond 15, Warrior Princess 15, Beast 15, Dame of Darkness 15...Aether is also a beast. That is my main battle roster. I have dozens of fearsome dragons but rely mostly on my top 6 listed above. FWIW I have another game running (level 50) on my PC and Forest 7 just vaporized Dueler on first battle. Fire 10 is strong there as well. My level 169 account took 5 battles with Warrior Princess finally winning.

I was delighted when I got my first Atlantis ;-) Now I have 4 of them . Have another Kitsune coming up in a little while too (another Diamond x Diamond -this time unboosted ;-)

Oh well, last one was 20 hr (Magic, but would have loved a Turquoise). New one (10 hr = Fairytale). Both I will sell off the nest since I just don't have any room for them. Still, I am quite happy with my Kitsune, Aries, Eclipse and Cosmic (even though I had to sell 2 purple habitats and build Cosmic and Zodiac zone -NEW genetic variations in my breeding stock).

Boosted Breeding

This weekend's FREE Boosted Breeding was very kind to me (unlike past experiences). I did exclusively Diamond 15 x Diamond 9 several times. My first time I got the elusive 5 hr Kitsune which I have been after for several months with Virtue x Fire. Then a 2 hr (Air). Then a second Kitsune (rapidly promoted a traded to craft my long desired Quartz gemstone dragon. After that an Eclipse, an Aries and a Cosmic followed by a duplicated Fairytale. Maybe time for 1 more breeding before this ends?

LOL!! Early this AM I was tending my girlfriends dragons after she went to sleep. Emptied her coins, set up some 5 hr Diamonddates, set up a food quest blah blah blah... Hmmm, an Empty breeding platform,, What a shame!!! What to do?... Last time I meddled I got a bloody Sunrise and before that a Magic and a host of other foolish commoners prior to that. So, Hmmm, many many colors... Comic x Cotton Candy,,, Boom drum roll.... 44 hrs!!!!!! Only thing is my girl is a Diamond Magnet (she already has 3 of them -got her first one at something like level 30- .. Oh well, at least it's only a 2x2 habitat).

@Jackiesq :But would you want to unload 8 million coins for that habitat? I probably would at this point (My beasts give me almost 6M coins a day). I used to curse when an expansion uncovered a 800K or 900K tree, now I just mutter under my breath and wait the 24 hrs). I recall waiting a month to clear the giant rock and nasty tree on the Dawn Tree Island, and had to save save save for those coins). Even so, I still can't justify spending 2M coins for a Stone Banner ;-). I figure within 2 months I will have equiibrated to 99 Million coins the way things are going. How long before that Gold granting dragon makes up for the initial outlay? Say let's think big and go for the Treasure dragon (2000 gold) or small White Gold (1500 Gold). Let's also cut to the chase and assume we take them to Epic immediately so we start to get 5 Gold per day. Simple math yields 400 days /300 days for Treasure/Wt Gold respectively. So, It will take a great amount of time for these beasts to break even. OTOH: I have seen these beasts in Value Paks from time to time, making such a purchase a remote possibility at some point in the future assuming they show up in a VP when I have an extra 15-20 bucks in my coffers.

Something I was thinking about is an button option to LOCK/Unlock gold. When it is locked you can't spend any gold. When unlocked go at it. So, no more butt dialing coins or unwanted dragons/food/expansions ... Basically I would operate all the time in locked mode and then unlock when I needed to make a purchase. Do the purchase and relock. Thoughts?

My worst was accidently spending on Expansion back in thde day when it was 10x hours rather than 1x. Set me back somthing like 250 gold. Also butt dialed coins and sometimes accidently lose 10 on finish for Ddates.

@DeeDe99: True. Compare that to a Black Sands Cost: 500,000 coins, capacity 1 dragon holds 4,100 coins. Or Shrine of Olympus Cost: 750,000 coins, capacity 2 dragons, holds 3,000 coins, or Treasure Terrace 8 Million coins holds 2 dragons.

I just bred Astro with Beastmaster and got 44 hours on the progress bar ;-) I already have 2 diamond Dragons. OK now there are 3.

@Listevacounter: What type of file is that? I DL it but the Windows 10 system doesn't recognize the file format. Maybe you left out the file extension?

Probably didn't miss any tournaments, but I did get 3 new dragons from the Dragon Tales and there is a HUGE HUGE swatch of land NE of the main island which will take me about a year or two to chew through. Figure it takes roughly 60 maps and 1M coins + 2 days for each expansion. It takes at least 3 days to collect maps + 2 days + 1 day to clear + about 1/2 day to build a habitat it is roughly a WEEK per expansion. Any one know exactly how many new 4x4 parcels are on the new mega island? I really wish they would have partitioned that into 3-4 pieces. AS it stands it looks unmanageable and will be really hard to plan anything that makes sense aesthetically.

Note that the Noble crystal is not available in the 'special' versions. Need to install the standard version for it to appear (same goes for the massive new island).
