Story:
Dragon Tales: A Fairy's Tale[]
- Reality can oft-times be quite fantastic. Sometimes it doesn't take a fairy tale to tell a story of fairies and magic! This tale is one such wonder, and it began with the rustling of some leaves...
- A group of dragons were at play on the forest's edge, but this was no normal gaggle of dragons. A Feathorn Dragon had attracted the ire of several local Red Leaf Dragons. What had started as a friendly prank and rustle up some animosity from the otherwise docile Red Leaf Dragons!
- Perhaps this Feathorn Dragon had gotten a little too prickly with his friends, but what was done was done, and it wouldn't take a mere apology to make up for this transgression.
- Disheartened and alone, the Feathorn Dragon wandered deep into the woods. At the sight of their friend heading into the dangerous woods, the Red Leaf Dragons called out to bring him back, but it was too late - he was too deep for their voices to be heard...
- Hanging from the trees so darkened by the thick canopy was a dragon of white and green. It seemed as though it was bound up in the trees, but when it saw the lost dragon, it hopped off its perch and introduced itself.
- A Pale Vine Dragon had revealed itself to the lost Faethorn Dragon and asked him why he was lost. When the Feathorn explained his predicament the Pale Vine Dragon respond with "that's ok, I sometimes get wrapped up with my friends too! But leaving whatever you did pales in comparison with leaving them behind!"
- And with those encouraging words, the two agreed that they would face the hurt friends together, and make amends for that mistake. But when they asked the direction from whence he came, the Faethorn Dragon could not answer. They were lost!
- But the Pale Vine Dragon knew how to get out of the Deepwood Grove! The two dragons flapped their wings as hard as they could and flew high into the canopy! From there they had to crawl their way through the leaves to get above the treeline!
- As so the two made it above the trees and found themselves face to face with a new dragon - one mysterious Sky Fairy Dragon! She had been brought to the location by sensing their distress, and offered to guide them back to the Feathorn's friends.
- And so it came to pass that the three dragons found the worried Red Leaf Dragons who apologized for driving the Feathorn off. But it was the Feathorn Dragon who truly apologize for he was in the wrong. And with that, all the dragons, new and old, would be friends forever!
