By breeding two parents that collectively contribute only the Yellow and Diamond types. The Yellow type can also be acquired from any minor type for which it is a component. (True for Mythic, Cosmic, Fairytale, Rainbow, Zodiac, Royal, and Egypt.) Minor types that have been split from other minor types can also contribute their component types to the type pool.

The Air Dragon is the third of the five basic dragons (bought with coins instead of gold) to be unlocked, after the Fire and Forest dragons.
Unlike most dragons, the Air Dragon can be sold for 250 instead of the standard 100 . This is currently the second highest amount of coins that a dragon can be sold for.
