Story:
Dragon Tales: Breath of the Wilderness[]
- The world was changing, and continuing to change all the time! The wilderness had been reintroduced to the Island but this would not remain the status quo for long.
- Many Deciduous Dragons noted that their world was already transitioning into the autumn months. What was once considered the reigning dragons would quickly change as the environment adjusted towards winter.
- With the clearing of the forests came more Charger Dragons. The environment was ideal for them as more open areas allowed them to do what they do best and charge around all day. Fewer leaves meant more open lines of sight and testing their strength on unoccupied trees.
- This, of course, is just one part of how the world changes for autumn. As the Charger Dragons make their presence more known on the island, much of the terrain becomes flattened and smooth. They clear the way for new growth in the spring!
- But beauty does not leave the world that quickly. Through the turning leaves and graying bark of the trees, many bright flowers still shine brightly in the wild. Wild Rose Dragons ensure that the toughest and most beautiful flowers survive the turning seasons.
- When the world begins to wilt, it provides new nutrients to the earth. The natural process sets the stage for new life in several months, but this does not stop the most resilient plants from flourishing during this tough time.
- Wild Rose Dragons tend to wild gardens and natural groves where they ensure flowers survive year round! Their diligence ensures the continued biodiversity on the Island year after year!
- As the leaves continue to fall, they leave their mark on the wilds. Leafprint Dragons seem to do the same in their own, mysterious ways. Their mark on the wilds is subtle but important...
- The Leafprint Dragons travel the Island and mark territory. But this territory is not for personal gain or power. They mark the lands of leaves and trees in such a way as to ensure that nature itself survives the winter.
- While patrolling the wilds, Leafprint Dragons guarantee that all life on the Island can continue to survive and thrive through the harshest months of the year. What would happen if something went extinct is no worry when the Leafprint Dragons are on duty!
