Story:
Dragon Tales: Darkland Hunt[]
- Not everything needs to be a grand adventure. Even the shadow dragons of the Darkland Hunt like to just goof off and take a day to themselves. But where does errant fun lead these stray dragons?
- A Haze Dragon, Vigor Dragon, and Unrestrained Dragon walk into the forest. This may sound like the beginning of a bad joke, but this story begins like many others.
- What mischief could just three dragons get up to is probably the top question on your mind. Well they started off with an umbral prank of shadowy proportions. The three slithered into the dark and set off to find the largest tree on the Island that they could find.
- The Vigor Dragon was the strongest of the bunch and she stood at the roots of this grand tree. They weren't sure if it truly was the biggest tree on the Island, but they knew it was at least the biggest tree that they could find! She planted her feet into the ground and with a powerful grip she tightened her claws around the roots of this tree...
- The Haze Dragon was known to be the most sly of the bunch. She stayed in the shadows and kept watch. Her colors shifting and reducing to a barely visible shade of green that blended well with the thick darkness of their locale...
- The Unrestrained Dragon was the undisputed leader of this rowdy trio. She flew silently to the top of the tree and perched her colorful wings among the strange fruits atop it. She could see far and wide from her vantage and she snacked on the Tree's bounty while she waited for the plan to commence...
- When she heard the cracking of the tree, the Unrestrained Dragon knew what was about to begin. The Vigour Dragon lifted with powerful hind legs and with the force of a dragon with nothing to lose, the roots ripped up from the ground itself! The tree began to tip and with it bright rainbow began to form at its peak!
- Unrestrained Dragons are known for their colorful wings and this one spread them as far as they were able as the shining colors of her body left a trailing rainbow in her wake as the tree fell down! Fruit began fall in every which direction under this rainbow of plenty!
- The Haze Dragon jumped up into the air and began the swirl around the descending rainbow with a green streak, creating a magnificent display of colors for all of the nearby dragons to see! The rarest fruit was now available to everyone and the show was something not to be missed!
- After their good yet mischievous deed, the trio disappeared into the forest once again. Their deed was done and they moved on for another exercise in fun and impulsive behavior...
