Story:

Dragon Tales: Flowering Fields[]

  • There were many preparations being made with the end of spring on the horizon. One last chance to plant some flowers before the summer was standing before the Island.
  • Many dragons consider springtime to be a time to plant the seeds for the future. This can be literal for the harvests, or poetic like that of establishing new relationships or journeys.
  • Shadow Petunia Dragons use this time to sow the seeds of secrets. They begin to whisper rumors in the ears of all dragons across the Island. Soon these rumors will be in full bloom and blossom into their strange machinations.
  • But what do Shadow Petunia Dragons do with such blossoming rumors? They hear new rumors back! They learn what people believe, and what people are saying about others, and will often discover many truths hidden in the lies.
  • A sweet scent had settled on the spring air as the rumor mill was settling down. Pale Begonia Dragons were taking their shot at planting the seeds of the future. Their chipper attitudes were looking for a brighter tomorrow and this was evident in the seeds they planted.
  • There are many Begonia dragons on the Island. Begonia, Rex Begonia, and Pale Begonia. They believed in sticking together with their kind and using their combined resources to improve the Island for all dragon kind.
  • So what did the Pale Begonia Dragons do? They planted flowers! In this case, bulbs would come back every season. They believe in the noble goal of beautifying their communities so all dragons can enjoy the bounty of nature.
  • And what of the Grandiflora Dragons? Their elegant draconic forms sat above the Island more beautiful than any flower planted in the earth. But what would they do to prepare for the future?
  • They called all other dragons together for a grand council. A council of springtime dragons who wanted to see the world better than they found it. Above all, the Grandiflora Dragons wanted to sow the seeds of friendship!
  • And so the meeting went on and every dragon present had made a multitude of new friends! When dragons are friends, there is less chance of conflict. And with less conflict, the Island can bloom just like a flowering field...
