Story:
Dragon Tales: Fun and Fondant[]
- A sweet air has fallen upon the Island and everyone is just dying for a slice of something sugary! It was as if the world were as sweet as candy, and as warm as a fresh baked pie!
- As one would expect, the baby Bambino Dragons were having a blast getting sweet treats from the Stoveblast Cavern! Slice after slice and cake after cake, the little fellows were eating sweets like there were no tomorrow!
- But after an unfathomable volume of sweets, the Stoveblast Cavern went cold! A chill air had filled where the warmth of baking had once been and it made the Bambino Dragons cry! Their cries were heard all across the Island until somebody came to help!
- Two experts in the field came around to the no longer blasting Stoveblast Furnace, intent on repairing it and bringing joy back to the saddened dragons. The first to arrive was a cunning Mellowcream Dragon! He knew all sorts of ways to reignite the furnace and was more than happy to get into the nooks and crannies of the cavern.
- Second came a Wingstroke Dragon from high in the skies! She was not well equipped to go spelunking with her broad and beautiful wings. However, she knew the cold more than anyone and offered a way to find the source of the chill in the cavern! With two volunteers ready to enter the cave, everyone knew it was only a matter of time before things went back to normal!
- With nothing but their wits, confidence, and each other, the Wingstroke Dragon and Mellowcream Dragon found themselves quickly lost in the winding fire tunnels of the Stoveblast Cavern. They did not anticipate it would get to this so quickly! With little way to retrace their steps, the Wingstroke Dragon focused all her senses in finding the source of the cold...
- After half a minute in deep meditation, the Wingstroke Dragon suddenly burst from her calm and had an epiphany! She felt cold air all around her, up and down and all around them. But what she was not expecting was to sense something else in these caverns - a source of heat!
- The two knew that this must be the original source of the flames and they raced towards the warmth! If the flame was not truly gone then it would be a lot easier to reignite the furnace to its former glory! The Mellowcream Dragon could hardly contain his excitement and darted down the warm cavern!
- In no time at all they found the original flame! They did not know what caused it to become so small, but that was of little consequence compared to fixing the problem! The two puzzled over it for a small time until they both took in deep breaths and let lose two blasts of flame that reignited the flame! But the fire would not stop expanding! The two dragons had to make a quick escape from the Stoveblast Cavern as its flames were beginning to blast like the stove it is!
- The two barely made it to the cave's mouth before the explosion shot them out towards their friends outside! They were safe and the day was saved! To greet them was a Noirvine Dragon who brought plenty of ingredients for sweets! She knew a couple of heroes would save the day and she was all prepped and ready to reward them with more sweets!
