Feature Overview: Leaderboard Event
Compete with friends in the Dragon Story community to earn amazing new and exclusive prizes!
Leaderboard events will ask players to compete with their friends and other community members in a friendly and fun competition! During a limited-time leaderboard event, players will vie for prizes by completing various tasks to earn leaderboard points.
- Each player is paired with community players that are similar to their own game level.
- Events vary in the way you earn points.
- Extra points may be earned during the events by purchasing Boosts
with gold. Boosts multiply the number of event points earned for a limited amount of time.
- At the end of each event, the leaderboard rankings will dictate which players are the victors and which prizes they will earn.
There are different ways to earn prizes during leaderboard events. Rank pizes are prizes acquired at the end of an event that are determined by a players rank. Milestone prizes, unlike the prizes determined by rank, are prizes earned at different point amounts during each event.
- Some milestone prizes vary from player to player. These prizes include leaderboard points, coins, food, gold, maps or decor.
- In order to earn a prize players must collect at least 10 points.
- A Spin to Win wheel of prizes will frequently appear during the event to aid players with their progress and boost their rank. The wheel prizes include coins, food, gold, decor, along with a Wooden Chest
, a Bronze Chest , a Silver Chest , and a Gold Chest that have various amounts of leaderboard points inside.

Listed below is a generic layout for a usual Leaderboard Event.
The Leaderboard Event is all about breeding, hatching, evolving and feeding. Earn points with every dragon you breed, hatch, and feed.
You can earn points 
by taking these actions around your Isles:
- Earn 3 points for every hour of breeding and hatching dragons from your Nest.
- Earn 3 points for every hour of evolution from your Evolution Temple.
- Earn 2 points for every hour of harvesting from your Farms.
- Earn 1 point for ever 500 food you feed your dragons.
- Earn 20 points every 2.5 hours from the first building.
- Earn 60 points every 2.5 hours from the second building.
- Earn 80 bonus points for hatching Ultra Rare Dragons.
- Earn 40 bonus points for hatching Super Rare Dragons.
- Earn 20 bonus points for hatching Rare Dragons.
- Earn points by sending the new common dragon on quests at the Quest Outpost.
- Earn points by evolving the new common dragon.
