Ancient myths about winged horses likely began with sightings of Pegasus Dragons. Because horses were a known animal and dragons were not, sharing an account of such a sighting was much easier when the storyteller used a commonly understood animal as a base.	Young Pegasus Dragons have been so affected by their misattribution as horses over the years that they sometimes feel to mimic equine attributes.While their behavior is typically limited to their youths, Caretakers may be troubled by the constant neighing, trotting, and carrot eating.

As adults, the societal pressure to mimic horses loses its grip on most Pegasus Dragons. Now, the creatures are free to express themselves as they are. It turns out however that Pegasus Dragons do like carrots quite a bit. Experts insist this is simply a coincidence.	Epic Form Pegasus Dragons meet once every year at the highest point on Earth for a group flight around the globe. The herd follows the movement of storms to stay hidden from the non-magical world. Caretakers celebrate the occasion by placing Light and Forest banners atop their island peaks.
