Story:
Dragon Tales: Sandy Adventure[]
- It was a hot day in the desert when trouble started to stir! The sun was blaring over the sands, but something was brewing trouble...
- A young Obelisk dragon, barely from the egg, noticed the sand was sinking into the ground! Everything was slowly being sucked into a pit beneath the sands, but what was causing this catastrophe?
- Experts from across the Island were called to investigate. A Tomb Dragon speculated that a lost crypt's seal had been broken, and that the sands of the desert were being shifted into the underworld!
- Many strange artifacts were used for testing this theory, but it was not quite enough to be certain where the sand was going! That is, not unless the dragons were willing to go down into this rapidly expanding vortex of sand!
- The next bet was to observe it from the skies. By the ground level it was increasingly dangerous to investigate, but the bird's eye view of the Sunray Dragons could shed some light on the anomaly. A whole group of Sunray Dragons took the skies above to see what was going on!
- But the skies left little in the way of help in figuring this out! All the sand was simply collapsing into the earth itself with no visible hole to observe! The Sunray Dragons were stumped - what could possibly help them now?
- But this did not stop a group of heroic dragons from banding together! An Obelisk Dragon, a Tomb Dragon, and a Sunray Dragon created an adventuring party to jump into the vortex and find the truth!
- The trio approached the sinking sands with a pep in their step as they knew they would solve the problems ahead of them. At first things looked dire as they were sinking into soft sands, but they powered through the difficulty!
- And suddenly a loud THUMP occurred and the dragons found themselves in a darkened chamber! The Sunray Dragon lit up the room with magic and revealed a long lost tomb! An expert on the lost treasures of the Island, the Tomb Dragon quickly began to chart their course through the catacombs! And at the end, they found the central chamber...
- In the central chamber, they found an adorable Canopic Dagon! It was just waking up from a centuries long nap and the roof of its home had collapse from its crazy yawn! The tomb was filling up with sand though, so they took their new friend and got out of there! They may not have stopped the sand from sinking into the tomb, but eventually it filled up and the desert leveled out one last time...
