Young Storm Dragons are very fragile and must be handled with care. Unfortunately, Dragon Keepers aren't able to touch Storm Dragons with their bare hands, as they are constantly surging with electricity. When novice Dragon Keepers handle Storm dragons without rubber gloves, they learn a shocking lesson.
Storm Dragons have the special ability to zap both predators and prey with electricity, but it doesn't last forever. When their electrical current begins to dissipate, Storm Dragons fly high in the sky above low-pressure weather systems, recharging their current in the Earth's ionospere.

Storm Dragons may jar dragon keepers with a jolt every now and then, but keepers love having them on their Island. When there's a drought on a Dragon Isle, and crops aren't growing as well, Storm Dragons can gather precipitation in their clouds and rain down on the fields.
If you want to have an Epic Storm Dragon on your isle, beware! Don't build their roost next to any metal on your island! Epic Storm Dragons are surging with so much raw electrical energy that any interaction with metal can cause an electrical discharge of colossal proportions.
