Parents Behavior[]

The Strongshine Dragon has special behavior when it is used as a breeding parent. Unlike dragons with only basic types, it will obey the following rules:

  • When the Champion type is alone in the pool, it will add pure dragons of its component types (Black and Red) to the list of possible outcomes, but it will not split into its component types. When Champion is included in the pool along with one or more other types, the Champion type can split into Black and Red. However, if it is split, then Champion is no longer in the pool for the duration. Thus, the presence of Champion in a pool will either add the Champion type if it does not split or the Black and Red types if it does split. There is one exception to this rule, and that is when both parents possess the Champion type. In this case, Champion can contribute both itself and its split colors at the same time.
  • When the Stone type is alone in the pool, it will add pure dragons of its component types (Green and White) to the list of possible outcomes, but it will not split into its component types. When Stone is included in the pool along with one or more other types, the Stone type can split into Green and White. However, if it is split, then Stone is no longer in the pool for the duration. Thus, the presence of Stone in a pool will either add the Stone type if it does not split or the Green and White types if it does split. There is one exception to this rule, and that is when both parents possess the Stone type. In this case, Stone can contribute both itself and its split colors at the same time.
  • When the Black type is alone in the pool, it will add pure dragons of its component types (Blue and Purple) to the list of possible outcomes, but it will not split into its component types. When Black is included in the pool along with one or more other types, the Black type can split into Blue and Purple. However, if it is split, then Black is no longer in the pool for the duration. Thus, the presence of Black in a pool will either add the Black type if it does not split or the Blue and Purple types if it does split. There is one exception to this rule, and that is when both parents possess the Black type. In this case, Black can contribute both itself and its split colors at the same time.
  • Although the Stone type can split into Green and White for breeding purposes, it still only counts as one type. This is important when considering the number of types for type-amount-dependent dragons such as the Diamond Dragon. Breeding a Night Dragon with a Strongshine Dragon only counts as three types: Champion, Stone and Black.

This is important when considering the number of types for type-amount-dependent dragons such as the Diamond Dragon. Breeding a Stone Dragon with a Strongshine Dragon only counts as three types: Champion, Stone and Black.
  • When the Champion type splits, any minor types within its components can also split. (True for Black).

    • Currently, due to a bug in the coding the Champions component Black type will always break down into Purple and Blue. It is unclear if this issue will be fixed.

Notes[]

  • The Strongshine Dragon's design is based upon the Familiar Dragon's, although there are differences between the two.
  • The Strongshine Dragon is limited to one per account.
  • There is an error in the Strongshine Dragon's description. It says "Strongshide" instead of "Strongshine".
