| Elf dragons seem to have an inherent desire to help out, which make them a favourite among dragon keepers to have around their island. Some beginner dragon keepers are frustrated when they breed an Elf Dragon that refuses to help out, but veteran keepers know that all Elf Dragons respond best to keepers who dress in all red.

Elf Dragons are very social, often working in tandem in large groups to accomplish a task. However, they are a bit shy around non-Elf Dragons and normally choose to live in large groups together around the Arctic Circle.

| While Elf Dragons may be shy around other dragons, they are fond of wild deer - especially reindeer. Elf Dragons have been known to visit reindeer in local forests, even bringing them food. Unfortunately, reindeer tend to be afraid of Elf Dragons due to their insistence on picking up reindeer and trying to teach them to fly.

Epic Elf Dragons take up leadership positions within the Elf Dragon ranks, often coordinating large projects when aiding dragon keepers. They are known for their organization and punctuality in accomplishing tasks, though for reasons unknown, they ensure no Elf Dragons work on Dec.26 each year.
